Real Time Ultrasound Assessment and biofeedback of Scapular Kinematics

Patients with shoulder injuries such as impingement, rotator cuff tears and adhesive capsulitis often present with altered shoulder kinematics. Real time ultrasound is now being used by physiotherapists as a way of observing altered shoulder kinematics in real time and using this information to select appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
In this video Peter Esselbach of Ultrasound Solutions demonstrates how real time ultrasound can be used by physiotherapist to assess shoulder kinematics. Peter also provides a brief demonstration of how Real Time ultrasound can be used to provide biofeedback for the muscles around the shoulder.
